Global law firm DLA Piper recently consolidated their two London locations into one giant hybrid, open-plan working space across 8 floors, totalling 193,000 sf in the heart of the city.
We took a tour of the facility a couple of days before the official move in, complete with that new-office-smell. The space felt fresh and there was an air of excitement around those with whom we discussed the big move – the firms single-largest capital relocation ever.
Working with furniture professionals Knoll, OE provided more than 700 PIXELTUF units allowing every employee the option to charge their laptop, phone and/or tablet either via the socket or fast-charging A+C USB outlets.
Alongside the more formal feel of the desk area sits meeting rooms, project rooms and collaboration spaces. DLA Piper employees can also take advantage of a gym, multi-faith room, client meeting and dining facilities and a 200-seat auditorium on the eighth floor.
